HI There,
I dont know if anyone remember but my pup was having some issues some months ago that no one seemed to cure. Her symptoms included biting towards her butt, sticking her paws and body in her waterbowl, and running around non stop. No sleep for anyone. So I am at my third vet. Her anal glands were expressed and she's still displaying these symptoms He thinks it's allergies. She's on a grain free dry and hard food right now. He suggested that she goes on Atopica but said it takes up to 8 weeks to have affect so wants to put her on a steroid for a few weeks until the Atopica kicks in. Has anyone had experience with this medication and/or steriods? I'm worried but its been an ongoing issue since memorial day....she got a bit better after one vet put her on antibiotics for a couple weeks.... She's about 4lbs and 5 years old.
