Yes? I understand and respect people who prefer to buy dogs from breeders. I got my Golden Retriever from a registered breeder/kennel. But the dogs were just that, outside in kennels. Which I didn't think was fair. A while ago I was watching a documentary called "Pedigree dogs exposed" and I have to say it really made me think about dogs with "excellent" bloodlines and how honest people/breeders really are. It is very sad, and you see the dark side of this world. Including breeders who kill puppies who don't meet the show/breed standard. It makes you look and think with a different view.
that's the documentary if you would like to check it out. As long as I know the puppies are coming from a loving home, and the parents aren't being kept outside in kennels, I'm happy. When I think of a BYB I picture a ton of dogs outside, tied to trees. The owner I'm getting this puppy from, both the mom and dad are his dogs. They're his family pets. He's sent me pictures of the Dad and Mother.
