From my experience, Males are going to be a little to a lot more protective of the Pack (you and Female), will develop territorial instinct and as they grow, become a little pesky toward the Females, establishing a dominant roll.

When I add one, I always choose...
Same Breed,
Opposite Sex, (so for you, a Male should be considered this time)
About 2 years apart (but 5 is not excessive)
Alternate sex as additional animals are added.

I really recommend the M/F combos. They can establish some very special loving and caring relationship with the other, which we Humans can't match in any way. And this can occur weather they are altered or not.

My Adult Male Sneakers and Adult Female Becca absolutely love each other dearly. It makes me feel very good, knowing that I was a part of making them so happy.

I sincerely hope that your experience with having several animals will be as gratifying as has mine.
