Thank you. He is there over night. The vet is treating as if its a soft tissue injury. He is giving him morphine for dogs and an anti inflammatory. Worse case scenario is a head injury.
His name is cooper he is an 8 week old cocker spaniel mix that we just got a few days ago due to his living conditions.
He was attack tonight by my in laws 70 pound black lab, we do believe during the tangle between the two the lab stepped on Coopers neck. I was not there so Im only getting details from my hubby and kids. His eyes are dilating and reacting ok, his heart is fine as well as his ears, he is walking and wagging his tail briefly before he would tip his head as if he was having a spasm and scream loudly..
breaking my heart.
My kids are so worried. My son hasn't stopped crying.
