you have to be careful with rice. Make sure you read the ingredients. Some of the rice products have gluten in them. My boyfriend is allergic to gluten. He breaks out in blisters when he eats anything with gluten in it. I have started trying to buy and make stuff without gluten in them. We made some brownies (got the mix at walmart in their gluten free section) and they were pretty good.
