Olivia did not eat yesterday afternoon and I had to fight her to get her meds down her last night.
That Denamarin is large for her .. she is the absolute worse in my home for giving pills to. I spoke with my vet this morning and am going to get as many of her meds in liquid form as I can.
She threw up in the middle of the night.
This morning she picked at her food only eating perhaps a tablespoon of it.
I so hate this....I tried to put her pills in pill pockets which she usually will take but she chewed on them until she found the pills and spit them out. I tried cheese..same thing. I can put them all the way down the back of her throat and she can work them back up. Some gag reflex on her. I remember dealing with this the last time .. hopefully it will pass soon. My vet is putting her on mirtazapine...I hope that will stimulate her appetite...I am taking her to see her this morning. One of my fosters has an appt so Olivia is going with.
