It is soooo frustrating!
My girl looks like she wants attention, but what if stranger pets her in an arthritis spot and she gets snappy? And it is my dog..ask first! I don't like when ppl get too close to my young nephews either.
I don't know their intentions.
What really gets me is people trying to give treats without asking.
My girl is deathly sensitive to some things.
i ask before petting unless the pup approaches me. I don't mind if one does but I don't think an owner should let a dog come into contact with a stranger without asking. Mutual respect.
