The heart clippies that Ann linked are awesome! I have them for Rosie and the are teeny enough for her little head and I had no problem growing out the hairs at the corners of her eyes. I just use a madan mustache comb for her topknot and put it up in a baby scrunchie, then use the heart clip for any hairs too short for the topknot.

There is also a madan topknot gel that you can use for flyaways and it won't make it crunchy. Mimimomo sells it.
