Do you leave the opening up so he can see? Could be kind of scary at first if he is in the dark and can't see anything. Try starting out with it as open as possible. It does take some training if they are not used to going into a purse.
The first purse I had for Gracie was not as tall as yours and she had to lay down in order to close it. She just hated that. Although I eventually got her to use it she still does not like it. I have other purses that she can move around in better and she loves those.
Try playing some games with him. Don't force him at first. Try getting him to just sit in it at first and use some treats. Usually when they realize that this is a fun thing they do accept it. |
