I'll save you the gory details, but we just returned from the vet with a diagnosis of ring worm for our 5-month old girl Tazi. The vet prescribed fluconazole for treatment. along with an antibiotic. A couple of questions for anyone that may have been through this:

Did you notice any side effects from the medication?

How often does our bedding need to be cleaned? Daily? (yes, the little one loves to snuggle up at night in our bed).

How about carpet - does it need to be steam cleaned or will a regular carpet cleaning machine (which we own) do? How often does the carpet need to be cleaned?

How about other surfaces/floors? Clean with bleach? Again, how frequently?

I'm asking these questions because some information seems to imply all of this cleaning on a daily basis, which seems like a daunting task.
