Is he vomiting or regurgitating. My Roxie was diagnosed with Reflux. She would eat her food and several hours later regurgitate it back up. She never made the sound they usually make before throwing up. She would all of a sudden just regurgitate a lot of liquid and food mixed in it. My vet put her on priolsac(sp), steroids and metronidazole. She also put her on a short term antibiotic to clear up any bacteria. She also was on a probiotic. We slowly weaned her off all the medicine except for probiotics. It seems to have worked. I hope you can get some answers and some relief for him. |
