Hi all.....

GiGi has had 4 bouts with small cases of diarrhea this summer. They last only one day because I give her chicken and rice and then she is back to normal poops. I am just wondering if this is something any of you have experienced. This is not normal for her and although she goes right back to normal I am concerned. This last time she had mucus in the loose stool and blood. I know they will get blood in the stool from the tushy straining to poop but that is kinda normal...I have never seen mucus in the loose stool although I have heard it is also common. She had blood work at her annual checkup and nothing was noted...hate to bring her in for more if it is not necessary...enough already with the needles.

Any experienced advise is appreciated (before we make an appointment)...
