I used clicker training with both my older dog and my cat. I didn't use it to teach my pets to come to me. I used it to mark other behaviors(sit, down, shake etc). I can click the clicker though and my cat will come running from wherever she is in the house, which is pretty cool...she knows it means snacks.
It did take a minute to get used to using as you have to mark the behaviors right when they do it. |
