Thank you, everyone! After I posted, I bathed her and realized there was more than one clump that needed attention. It took me about 10 minutes to dislodge it! Oh.....how.....GROSS! Anyway, once I got it out I took the scissors and trimmed what I could. That was an ordeal! I was on my own tonight, so no-one to help hold her. I think poor Mia was so happy to be clean that she was trying to be on her best behavior. :-) I sure hope it does the trick. I don't want a repeat of that any time soon!

Thanks for the advice. Even though I figured it out, it is nice to know that others have dealt with this, and that I'm on the right track. You are a great support network for us new Yorkie mommies!
