So Mia went to the vet today to get her baby canines pulled and to check her legs because I've been suspecting she may have luxating patella. They did xrays and determined that she does have it in both knees. He didn't say which type but he did say she will require surgery at some point, preferably after she is 1 year old. She is almost 10 months right now. Since day 1, Mia has been a crazy jumper. Unfortunately, she has jumped off my bed many times even though I try not to let her. She is not allowed on the bed anymore because I could not control her jumping off. I am saddened by this news. I will probably go to an ortho surgeon for the surgery and a second opinion once she is a bit older. I would like to start her on some vitamins that will help her joints. Does anyone have recommendations on a good vitamin for her? Thanks :-)
