 These foods will be great for picky eating toy breeds because the website says the company uses vacuum infusion. That forces the fats into the middle of the kibble rather than the fat just dried on the outside. The dog can taste fat every time it chews a piece.
 
 This looks like a cool line, Single Protein Cod with no egg, chicken, chicken fat or canola or flax.

  The cod does look interesting. Mine aren't big on fish. But cod isn't really "fishy" compared to other types of fish. I'd def try it. It's such a unique - but not unique - protein source, you know? And it's funny that you mentioned the ash content. I spent my morning researching food with less than 8% ash. I don't know much about Farmina. I guess I'll have to look them up.
