[QUOTE=Marhcarter;4295805]Yorkiemom1:
I have read some of your comments on other threads about your experience with parvo and they really made me stand up and take notice! I used to take Huey to Petsmart and put him in the cart-Now I line the cart with a towel or pad just to be sure, even though he is vaccinated. I have never taken him to a dog park (none in my area) but would actually be a little frightened to do so after reading about how virulent Parvo is. I remember when Bentleysmommie posted her experience where her 3 dogs that were vaccinated got it anyway. Has anyone's dog survived parvo?? - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community

OMG Those carts are so nasty, I will tell you from firsthand experience.

I use to work at the Banfield in Petsmart. You don’t even know how many people brought their dogs into the hospital in a Petsmart cart. The owner says “ they are vomiting, bloody diarrhea, etc”. Sure enough they all tested for Parvo. You wouldn’t believe how many came in sick and dying in a cart. I never once witnessed Petsmart throwing carts away, or even cleaning them for that matter.

To this day I never ever put Peanut in a cart, vaccinated or not-

I have seen dogs survive Parvo-
