If I had not rushed him to the vet b4 they opened (they took him in as emergency) he wouldn't be w/us right now. I used to give him nutri-cal religiously after that, every morning & night bc I was so afraid he might get another hypoglycemic attack. It was giving him the runs too, so we went to the vet. That's when he told me to not give it to him if he's eating well & about the diabetes. He's a widdle piggie, so I never had to give it to him again.
That sounds like it was scary! Glad you got him to the Vet. These babies go down fast. I never had to give Peanut nutrical as a puppy.. I have had moments where Peanut didn't eat, and when I come home he is acting off and shaking. It just happened yesterday. I will mix him up something to eat that is special and he will always eat.. 10 mins later he is acting like his normal self. I usually give him a little boiled chicken in the morning before I leave work, just so I know there is something in his tummy.. however I have been slacking on my Wife duties and with the construction we haven’t been eating home. Now that my kitchen is back to normal, I can get Peanut’s weekly boiled chicken made!
