Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can give some insight.
My Maxi has scabs on his neck (under the chin) on his face and his snout. He has been scratching a bit... but I'm not convinced that the scratching is what is causing the scabs because they're in places that he would have some trouble reaching. Maybe, maybe not.
Anyway... of course, I'm going to take him to the vet... but wanted to know if anyone had any insight as to what this might be?
I use an oatmeal shampoo prescribed by the vet. I thought maybe it was because I wasn't rinsing him good enough... but I took him to a groomer this weekend and he got a cut and a good rinse... but there seem to be more scabs appearing.
