Poor Ginger, she has had a hard week. I know some dogs/ cat's are more prone in getting them. We had a cat, Cheetah she would always get them. She was on special food.. the whole 9 yards.

I know as a preventative you can give Ginger Cranberry Extract.

Cranberry Relief for bladder infections in dogs and cats, Urinary Tract Disorders

There are a ton of different types out there.. Maybe talk with your Vet to see if that is something you can do. It probably wouldn't hurt.

Sending prayers for Ginger.. hopefully she is feeling better soon..
