Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to bookmark that one for a cool day, I'd love to take her to a nice place for little dogs that's clean

Everything (human and dog) is crowded here in LA for at least the next month or so until summer holidays are over, tourists return home and school is back in session. Eager to take her off leash and throw the ball around a bit though. There is a wonderful human park/stretch of the beach that's grassy and so well kept on Ocean Park and Neilson Way near Santa Monica Beach. I love walking here but as Lily is a rescue just one month ago, I'm still a bit hesitant to take her off-leash when there's no enclosure. I'm sure it's so different when you raise a dog as a puppy. She's doing great, just need to build that trust (it's probably more me than her but ... no she's got plenty to do with it!). We don't have too many areas around the Westside of LA to practice having fun off leash so it's something I'm constantly looking for!
