[Faboosh]

Even tho we're in suburbia, we're close enough to the mountains that we have hawks, owls, vultures, falcons, eagles, etc... I see them flying over my neighborhood daily and have heard of little dogs disappearing in my area, usually due to the birds. Totally freaks me out, but I'm also kind of a helicopter mom.

I can't let Billi go far unattended anyway, she's just too small and too brave. I'll let her roam the backyard for a little while during the day when I can watch her. When she learns to come when I call her, I'd let her stay out more. Maybe!
