I have an 'alpha' female myself. We had a rough patch for a while but taking her to obedience classes and exercising her more helped. I also had to watch for her signs she was going to be dominant and start correcting her before the behavior escalated. Make sure you teach her you are the boss, make her do tricks for food and when you walk her make sure she stays by your side or slightly behind you and not in front. I would contact a trainer asap before things get worse.
