I'm glad she is going to the vet, and I hope you can get some reassurance there.
In a situation like this, it's better to be hyper-vigilant, aware, and worried than to be flippant and in a fantasy world and think that nothing could possibly go wrong. (Your maternal instincts are kicking in, too). I would be a basket case in your shoes, one of the main reasons why I could never be a breeder.
