Any suggestions on a protein-heavy, clean, food for these older loves of ours? Anything that you all have experienced giving your "babies" that works?

Thanks!!
Ask your vet about feeding puppy food to your dog. They are generally higher in protein and calories. My only concern about high protein is that it might be harder on an older dog's kidneys and liver. Your vet might want to do blood tests to make sure there are no problems with feeding a "higher octane" puppy food.
