 My female is mean...
I have read past threads and cannot seem to find any "how to's" on dealing with aggression.
She is awesome with us, loves my kids. Never questions our authority. Not even food aggressive or toy protective with humans, but she is terrorizing our male.
She will not even allow him to relax, won't let him come to us to get lovin', won't let him eat. He is my favorite dog ever and his awesome personality is getting sucked out of him because he is always in fear. When I tell him to come to me, he looks for the female to be sure he will be ok. She glares at him and he submits... Today my daughter was holding him in her lap and the female attacked him from the floor (she can't jump on furniture-well, she can, but doesn't know it), left my dd in tears. SOMETHING has got to change. Anyone have any ideas on what would help the situation? Will I have to find her a home with no other pets?
He is 5 (weighing 5 lbs); she is 1.5 (weighs 9lbs). |
