Thanks everyone for the well wishes for Tinkerbelle. I was looking at her leg today where they shaved it for the IV and it made me start crying.
I sure love this little furbaby.
She's been through so much in her little life.
Tala went for her final test before she starts on the heartworm treatments. She has to be on an antibiotic for 28 days and then on Oct 8 she gets her 1st injection in the back and the next day she gets the 2nd one. It's very painful for her and she has to be kept very quiet for 6 weeks so she doesn't get clots and die. I'm kind of scared about this but the other option is to let her die slowly from heart worms.
What kind of choice is that?!
Gotta do it.
