Dogs - 2, Pool Critters - 0 I let the boys out this morning to do their deed and I saw something swimming in the pool. Small critter. So I quietly went to the gate and opened it, but not quietly enough because both dogs ran through it quick as possible into the pool area. They like to hunt/patrol the pool for frogs and do it all the time.
Well they spotted the thing swimming and in 1 second were IN the pool getting it. Fletch got it, we got him out and he dropped it back into the pool. It was a mouse! It didn't survive.
While we were getting it out, we hear freaking out again and splashes. They were back in the pool getting a frog! LOL Get them out, get the frog, it didn't survive either!
I should feel bad.... but I'm kind of proud of my boys! Their instincts really kicked in! RIP Mouse and Frog!
