oh so sorry for the pups! My guys are the same, the biggest seam to be the most scared. If the storms are really bad I put a leash on because I am afraid if the door blows open or a window breaks they would be gone. (sorry--- lived too many years with really bad storms and a dh who doesnt want to put shudders up unless it is a cat 3 lol -- and I just always think of the worst case)
