Yep, teething makes them go nuts. I have Cookie's chew toys littered all around the living room and kitchen (only places she is allowed until she's potty trained) so I can always have something close by to give her (and then praise when she chews it) when she is in 'monkey swinging from the trees' mode and chews something she shouldn't.
