 Update
He still has pain..Dr. wants him up and moving. They took an x ray because he had some pain in the stomach on the side. He wasn't getting out of bed. Another dr. came in and told him he has to listen to his dr. and changed his meds from morphine to a non narcotic pain killer because the morphine slows the stomach down. They won't take out the NG tube till the stomach starts acting more normal. So a physical therapist is coming in too to help him get around. He has 3 incisions so I guess that's why a PT is helping too. The staff is so kind and helpful. They are really great. The dr. is great too (he's the chief of vascular surgery). I feel like he is making slow but steady progress considering it was such a large surgery. So please keep the prayers coming. You guys are the best. Thanks again!!!!!!!! Valerie |
