Peanut use to get car sick too, well not so much car sick as he was nervous. I bought him a car seat and it has helped him. He usually wants to sit in my lap and look out of the window, but I try to make him sit in his car seat in the back… if we are just going down the street I will let him be up with me.. I try not to because you just never know!!

I can understand how her eye sight would make her more car sick.

The dog beach part is closed off, well you pretty much have to climb down to get to it. The only way a dog would be able to escape is to rock climb back up. When I went I kept Peanut on his leash, as this was his first time at the dog beach. It was Saturday, so it was very busy. Lots of big dogs coming up to him and sniffing him- which he wasn’t too fond of. He actually hated the beach LOL, it was pretty windy and he didn’t like walking in the sand… so we hiked back up and walked around the walking paths. Which was more his style. Concrete and grass! The ocean is right there and you are a little high up so it is a great view. The path goes down pretty far, so it really is a great walk.

I never heard of Zoom Room, I just checked it out and the one in HB and Costa Mesa are not available yet. We have a dog park right by my house. It is Riverside Riverwalk Dog Park- they keep it really clean and they have a big/small section. I personally don’t like going to dog parks in general. Peanut isn’t really fond of them either- he would rather take a nice long walk. He hates when dog’s come up and sniff him, he really doesn’t play with any dogs LOL He just walks around sniffing and peeing on everything- so I find it pointless. LOL

I think no matter how clean the dog park is, it is going to smell like pee- your dog is going to be walking around in pee and smelling pee and poo. IMO I find that dirty and I still worry about him catching something LOL, For us taking a nice long walk is perfect. We have this man made stream it is called riverwalk.. it is really nice.. Tons of ducks and walk ways- fully landscaped it is really pretty- Peanut loves annoying the ducks!
