Yes he can give him some Nutri Cal. This is usually found at Pet Co. OR he can use a little bit of Karo Syrup to help.
BUT he has to remember this cam't be constantly used.
This should help him get on track to start eating.

Also he can try and use some Chicken Baby Food, or Boiled Bonless Chicken Breast on his food.

I forgot to sate that with Nutri Cal or Karo Syrup just put a little bit on his gums or let him lick a little bit.
