Oh my goodness how she reminds me of my Odie that we lost about 3 years ago. Praying the vet will find what is wrong and it will be simple. As Odie aged, he had to get up and down more during the night. He had arthritis really bad so he didn't always make it to the pee pad in time. I started putting his pad and his water bowl right beside his pet bed that he slept on. I don't know if this helps in your situation. But I thought I would share it anyway.
