Oh yes....I've been there with my old cats in the past four years Folk who don't have animals just don't understand how much of a relief those first pees and poops are after illness/surgery

Been offline for a few days so just catching up now and SO pleased to hear that darling Nena has come through her op ok (((HUGS))) As others have said, she'll be back to her normal happy self in a day or two - animals recover amazingly well from operations that would have us humans laid out for weeks, don't they!
From my experiences of having my girls spayed the vets have said exercise on lead only for ten days/two weeks after the op just to give their body time to heal but after that it's a lifetime of being a normal happy loved wee girl
