I never had an issue with the zipper. I personally like the 3 wheelers because its easier to maneuver. I purchased a 4 wheeler when I got Gus but went to a bark at the park event and seen a three wheeler that I had to have but hubbie said no because I already had one. But that didn't stop me from telling my mom what I wanted for my biethday,,,, after her asking what I wanted. Hehehe
