He will be ok! We (Yorkie Haven Rescue) have a foster in NC who is diabetic. He gets insulin twice daily and has been with his foster home for some time. A wonderful family is adopting him!!
He does very well.
I don't have any first hand experience, but just want you to know that I have seen many over the years who did very well.
Once you get into a routine, I am sure it will all go well!
