I'd always thought Yorkies so cute from afar but had never been around one until the day I went to look at a Yorkie puppy. It was my Scotty. He was a tiny black and tan furball, almost baby-faced looking with fire in those tiny eyes, tiny, thin prick ears well-set on his head, short-bodied, cocky little tail and had a huge attitude for such a little thing - bossy as heck. Ran right up and barked at me when I came in the room! I was charmed to the toes and had to have him. I knew absolutely nothing about Yorkies and that they were terriers in every way but I bought him and brought him home and began a long, long love affair with this wonderful breed of charm, determination, spunk, eternal cuteness and work-ethic that makes life with them delightful. After Scotty came Jilly and now my Tibbe!!! Three of the greatest dogs ever to walk this earth and they were all little Yorkshire Terriers from head to toe.
