I grew up in a dog family, when I was born my parents already had a Dachshund/mix. When I was 15 I bought my own dachshund (dad picked it out lol). Needless to say, my husband and I started off with a dachshund after being married 9 months. Unfortunately I started developing severe allergies and asthma a few years ago, the doctors thought I may be allergic to the dachshunds, but we both know how important dogs are to us, so I did countless research on the breeds and fell in love with the Yorkie's attitude. Needless to say, I found my Morkie, after months of looking for a Yorkie or Yorkie cross. He has the attitude of the Yorkie, but ended up looking a bit more Maltese in the face. |
