 praying for help with career setback
I apologize for asking for prayers when this problem seems so trivial compared to the issues most here are facing. My 23 yr old son has put his blood sweat & tears into his musical career for the past 5 years. His hard work seemed to pay off 3 months ago when they were signed by a record company. Now the record company is telling my son he needs to change his image to a "bad boy" or they will replace him. They want him to change who he is & get tatoos & piercings etc. among other things. My son is devistated, but doesn't want to compromise who he is & what he stands for. He also doesn't want to hold back the other members of his band. Hes worked so hard for this, and now he feels its being taken away. Please say a prayer to help him decide what is the right thing to do, and to hlp him be at peace with his decision. I know this is a minor problem compared to most here, but as a Mom, its so hard to watch our children struggle & suffer. I 'm almost embarrased to ask for help here, but know how powerful YT prayers can be! |
