I hate the teacup comment. "Is he a teacup?" It annoys me because I want to set them straight. I usually say, "No, just a regular yorkie." Copper weighs in at 4 pounds.
I sometimes get asked if he is a girl because of the harness vests I make for him. I try to make them like vests and as ungirly as possible. They are the easiest thing for a walk though. Two Velcro strips and they are on with the leash attached. After the walk, the same, unvelcro the two strips and hang up the harness.
Some people say, "Dogs shouldn't wear clothes." I'm thinking, "not clothes, a harness vest and easy. Who cares what you think?!"
