ZoE trained very quickly & was fully potty pad trained by 12 weeks. My last yorkie, Chelsea, was the same.
With each dog, I took a few weeks off work so I could be available 24/7 to focus on training. I think the key is to create the environment for successful pottying and not give them an opportunity for accidents...and praise, praise, praise & treat every good potty. Within days, they got what I wanted them to do, and then it was just a matter of reinforcing the behavior.
