These precious little gifts from God!! My matriarch, Aija, who has gone on to Rainbow bridge now, was also very attached to my mother, and all during mommas illness, when I had her here at home, Aija was always "on guard", watching, and comforting momma....and after momma died, poor little Aija looked and looked for her, backing up across the bedroom, so she could see on the bed, trying to see if momma was in the bed. She would go to mommas closet and see moms shoes she always wore when she left the house, and Aija knew if moms "going shoes" were in the closet, mom was still in the house some place. It took several years for Aija to stop looking for mom.... |
