How-ever my breeder uses the #15 for paw pads and the 7FC for ears. Then she finishes the crisp ear edge with scissors.

I use the 7FC for sanitary trim, and finish up with blunt nosed scissors the come in very close to the anus.

I use 7FC over spine and somewhat down the sides of the back (I leave a skirt on the body). Same blade for neck trimming.

I scissor face.

Now that Razzle is not showing if you do get an underarm mat, or sometimes over the elbows you can buy a soft slicker cat brush, it really is quite quick and painless but you will lose hair with the slicker.
