Default My weekly post

I haven't done much this week as I've been battling dr appointments and other life things that get in the way, but here's what I have!

Into the Light. This is a mystery quilt I participated in an online group. We got clues every week and had no idea what the quilt would look like until the end. The first week we got fabric requirements, and had a week to purchase what we needed. The next week told us to cut all the black squares as well as some black triangles that will fill in the edges (I don't have mine on my design wall yet). The week after that instructed us to 'cut a rainbow' and told us how many strips of each color to cut. The next week instructed us to 'sew a rainbow' and had the instructions on the colored blocks and how to sew them and what size to cut them into after they were sewn. This week gave us the layout and how to sew it together and this is what we got..... I plan to get it sewn together and choose a back for it sometime this week, as well as finish the chevron quilt that's way overdue. Thanks for looking.
