Today is 71 and windy! This week won't get out of the 70s. That is below normal for us, we should have August of hot weather and sometimes even Sept can be hot! I HATE closing the pool, it actually makes me depressed. I joke with hubby about putting a dome around the pool so we never need to close it! Or we could heat it all winter too! LOL
What you think of as hot is spring weather to us. It's going to be 104 here today and I think 106 on Wednesday and when you walk outside, the heat hits you in the face at first until you acclimate a little to it. In winter here, some of our days are like the summers you describe. But no shoveling snow, businesses closed or power down due to ice and feet of snow, freezing weather so I'll endure our summers to keep from having to shovel my drive-way and sidewalk for many weeks or long dreary, dark days.

Ya'll really need to move where it's a warm, sunny climate like Florida or Cali. It's very summery in many places in those states but not sooo hot like Texas and AZ. Still, it's hard to beat our winters!
