Then they would have had to do the whole, "I'll stand on this side and you stand on that side. We'll both call his/her name and see who he/she comes to! " Just like in the movies!
Why get the dog chipped? Because I would HOPE eventually the stealer or stray picker upper person would be smart enough to take the dog to the vet. Then, if the vet checked the dog the # would come up stolen. Hey, come to think about it...I took Baby to two different vets and they didn't check her chip. How do they know I didn't steal/find her? Maybe vets should automatically check. What do you think?
