I don't think it's a bit much to press charges especially if the dog was stolen out of the front yard. I believe in Jersey that's stealing and you can press charges. I wonder what Jersey law would be if a person found a stray and didn't attempt to find the owner. I know the cops in the town I work, so I'm gonna ask one of them!
I'm dying to know.
