Thank you for all your help. I used to have doggie steps by my bed but he never used them. However my basset hounds used to use them and I took them away because It's very hard to deal with two 68 pound dogs climbing on your bed and wanting to play. It's not like he used to and stopped, he never did since he was a puppy. Now I have to worry because we have a shorkie with hip displeasure and a yorkie with mild LP. So maybe I'll have to invest in a ramp or stairs and take my chances with the basset hounds.
