Oh, it's even worse than that...
For $10 they'll euthanize any owner-surrender at the owner's request. It's a cheap way for people to get rid of any pets they no longer want. It costs more to place an ad looking for a new home for them in the local classified newspaper than it does to have your pet willfully killed.
It's beyond disgusting!
